Your finds, not a feed.

Madi is a moodboard for the links, images, notes and files you collect yourself. No feed, no recommendations, nothing picked for you. Just your board, arranged your way.

No account. Works offline. Your boards stay on your device.

Capture

Get it in first. Arrange it later.

Paste or drop

Press ⌘V with a link, an image or some text. Drag files in from your desktop. Double-click the canvas to start a note.

Save with a bookmarklet

Drag Save to Madi to your bookmarks bar to save any page in one click. New captures land in an empty spot, clear of your cards.

Cards

Every kind of thing gets the right card.

Links

A snapshot of the page with its title and site. Open the live page inside Madi when the site allows it, or pick your own thumbnail.

Images and video

Shown at their own proportions. Video plays right on the card, muted and on a loop.

Notes and tasks

Markdown notes with headings and lists. Task lists with real checkboxes you tick without opening anything.

Files

Read PDFs, Markdown and code in place, and look inside zip files without unpacking them.

Tags

Tag any card and give the tag a color. The color follows the tag everywhere in your tree.

Undo everything

Every change saves as you go and undoes with ⌘Z, deletes included.

Organize

A canvas for thinking. A grid or list for finding.

Group your work into trees, and each tree into branches. Every branch is its own infinite canvas. Switch to Grid or List to scan, search, sort and filter the same cards.

Your data

Madi never sees what you save.

No account and no server database. Your boards live on your device, and in your own Google Drive only if you turn on sync. Your cards, notes and files never reach us.

An open format

Each branch is a JSON Canvas file, so Obsidian opens your boards too.

Back up in one click

Export everything as a zip, and import it in any browser.

Sync if you want to

Turn on Google Drive sync to see your boards on another device. Madi only touches the files it creates.

Install

Put Madi on your device.

Madi is a web app you can install. Installed, it gets its own icon and window and opens without a connection.

iPhone and iPad

In Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen.

Already have boards in Safari? Bring them over with Export and Import, or turn on Drive sync.

Android

In Chrome, tap ⋮, then Add to Home screen and Install. Madi then shows up in your share sheet.

Mac

In Safari, choose File › Add to Dock.

Chrome or Edge on a computer

Click the install icon at the right end of the address bar.

Start with whatever you have open.

Madi runs in your browser. Nothing to sign up for, and installing is up to you.
